Come to BraindropsNW on Saturday, May 22nd, 2010.
What?
Loosely based on the TED Talks concept, Braindrops is a student-driven undergraduate symposium that will showcase the work and ideas of PSU and UW students. Opening remarks will be made by Professor Hunter Shobe.
Who?
Presenters are undergraduates at either Portland State University or the University of Washington, mostly from the Community Development program at PSU and the Community, Environment and Planning program at the UW. Attendees will mostly be students, but don’t have to be. Braindrops is hosted by the Community Development Student Group at PSU, and students from the Community, Environment and Planning major at the UW.
Why?
To both inspire and be inspired by the work of your peers, Braindrops is a forum for professional presentation practice and an opportunity to get feedback on your ideas from your fellow students. We want to give undergraduates a place to tell the world what they are excited about academically and why. Attendees and presenters alike are in for a great networking opportunity, a lot of inspiration, and some after-hours fun.
When and Where?
Friday, May 22nd [more info coming soon]
